About AgentSDK

AgentSDK is a community-maintained comparison of AI agent frameworks and SDKs. The agent ecosystem is evolving fast — new frameworks launch weekly, existing ones add features, and the landscape shifts with each model release. This site exists to help developers navigate the options and pick the right tool for their project.

What counts as an agent framework?

We include libraries and SDKs that help developers build autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems — tools that go beyond single prompt-response patterns to support multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory, multi-agent coordination, or retrieval-augmented generation.

Official vs Community

Frameworks marked Official are published by major AI labs or backed by well-known organizations. Community frameworks are listed based on GitHub activity, adoption, and unique capabilities.

How we compare

Each framework is evaluated on install experience, language support, feature set, LLM compatibility, and community activity. We track GitHub stars as a proxy for adoption but recognize that newer frameworks may be excellent despite lower star counts.
